Conservative Leader and Senator Erin Houchin actively leading statewide grassroots efforts
HENDRICKS COUNTY (May 26) —Today, former Secretary of State and Member of Congress Todd Rokita announced Senator Erin Houchin is serving as Campaign Chair in his race for Indiana Attorney General.
Erin Houchin currently serves as Indiana State Senator for District 47, which includes all of Crawford, Harrison, Orange, Perry and Washington Counties, and the eastern portion of Dubois County. She is also the founder and President of Contend Communications & Development, LLC.
“I have known Erin Houchin for over two decades, and I know her passion for service, dedication to our conservative principles, and ability to fight and win tough battles is unmatched,” said Rokita. “As I run for Indiana Attorney General, I could not be prouder to have her spearheading our efforts, and am certain she will bring the experience, network, organizational skills, and relentless leadership to our team that we need to win the nomination at the Indiana Republican Party Convention, and in the November election.”
Erin Houchin has a long history of working to promote Republican policies, previously serving as Vice Chairman of the Washington County Republican Party, 9th District Chairman for the Indiana Republican Party, and 9th District Chairman of the Indiana Federation of Republican Women. She is a graduate of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series, Indiana Leadership Forum, and Women’s Campaign School at Yale University. Houchin received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and holds a Master’s degree in Political Management from The George Washington University.

Todd Rokita previously served as Indiana Secretary of State and 4th District Congressman. He is seeking the Republican nomination for the Office of Attorney General at the upcoming Indiana Republican State Convention.
